Head of Originations, Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director

Kevin is our Head of Originations, Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director responsible for growing Horizon’s strong market presence and executing Horizon’s venture lending strategy across all platforms and geographies. Previously, Kevin was responsible for business development in the West Coast life science markets. Kevin has been in the commercial finance industry for 30 years, including over 20 years in venture lending. Prior, Kevin served as Director, Credit and Portfolio of Oxford Finance Corporation and as Vice President, Credit and Portfolio Management at GATX Ventures, Inc., the venture lending subsidiary of GATX Corporation.

Earlier, Kevin managed the western U.S. sales and marketing team at a division of Finova Capital Corporation and served as a Vice President at Deutsche Financial Services. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Florida.
