Strategic Advisor

JP serves as a strategic advisor to Horizon, supporting the firm’s origination efforts across New England with a focus on sponsor-backed technology companies. He brings more than 30 years of experience in venture lending and growth financing, along with an extensive network throughout the technology and venture capital ecosystem.

Throughout his career, JP has held leadership positions at Comdisco Ventures, Hercules Technology Growth Capital, GE, Velocity Finance Group, Cambridge Trust Bank’s Technology Group, NXT, and Right Side Ventures. He has also helped launch two venture-lending platforms and has originated, managed, and advised on investments representing more than $500 million in committed capital.
